The process of launching a new mapping project is always the same, and always easy. Follow these steps to get your project off the ground.
Create a free account, from our home page. All you need is a valid email address.
From the home page, or from your user settings page, click "Create Project" - it may take a few seconds to generate.
You will be redirected to your new project when it's ready. Click "✏️Edit" in the top right corner to begin customizing.
Every project starts with a few pages— edit them to add map layers, survey questions, and media.
Click "Project Settings" to give your project a location, add a logo and upload a banner photo.
The location is useful for helping your users understand what your study area is, or who the relevant audience is.
Send the link to your contributors!
Anyone with the link can contribute, depending on your permission settings. Users, Permissions, Privacy
Need more advanced features? Consider upgrading the project to get access to stuff like polygons, search engine optimization, and CSV export.
