Summary

Collaborative Mapping Pages allow you to attach Layers to the map.

Conceptually, layers are like 'categories' of map data. When a user clicks to add something to the map, they must select which layer they are contributing to.

You can add up to 6 layers per mapping page.
Each layer can have it's own color, geometry, display settings, and other settings. Each layer is configured individually.
Layers are associated with 1 page. You cannot have the same layer on multiple pages.
Every layer has it's own survey questions. After a user clicks the map and selects a layer, they are presented with the questions for that layer.
You can click a point on the map to read the answers to the survey questions.

Add a layer

To add a layer, enter Edit mode, navigate to the mapping page (or add a new mapping page) and click the Layers button to open the layers list.

In the Layer list, you can view all the layers that have been added to this page of your project. These layers appear whenever a user clicks the map. The yellow comment icon allows you to attach survey questions to a layer. The red settings icon allows you to configure the layer settings.

The layers list shows all the collaborative layers on that page.

When a user clicks the map to contribute, they must select a layer.

Clicking the red settings icon opens the layer settings modal for that layer. Depending on your project's tier (free or upgraded) you can configure the following settings:
