• Canvis.app accounts only require your email and display name.
• The browser will ask for your location, but this data does not leave your web browser.
• We also use third party technology services, like servers, databases, hosting, authentication and traffic analysis. These providers and services must also comply with our own privacy policy, and we only select providers who comply with the most strict international data protection and privacy laws.
• We use Plausible.io to count pageviews and see how people find canvis.app. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics platform, and does not track any of your personal data or web history.

Third Party Providers

We rely third party services to host all canvis.app data and authenticate users.

Our database services and authentication services are certified ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 and are active under the EU and Swiss Privacy Shield Framework.

To support our European customers we have chosen to have all database and data processing take place in infrastructure that is physically located in the European Union (Germany).

Tracking & Browser Data

We use cookies and browser storage only where necessary:

• Authenticating users.
• Counting the number of users visiting our platform.
• Caching and retrieving project data.

If a user shares their location with the browser, this information is contained in the user's web browser and we do not save this information to any database or third-party servers.
